Blind Bid Auction - Ticket to the Moon

This year's online and live event silent auction helped raised $8000 for 42nd Street Moon.  Of the more than 65 items for auction, only four did not sell at the live event.

This is your last chance to purchase some wonderful items and help Moon raise funds for our 20th Anniversary Season.

The four items below are available for a blind bid auction. A blind bid auction works a bit differently than other auctions - you only get one chance!  Each item will have a minimum bid, however you can bid as high as you want over that bid! Whoever bids the most, wins the item. It's that easy.

To place a bid simply fill out the form below!

LOT 1 - 23 1/2" Keshi Pearl Necklace:

Over 200 spikey silver / grey Keshi pearls are accented by eighteen 4.5mm white Keshi Pearls. The necklace is centered by a drop of two clear quartz faceted cylinders, two amethyst-rondels, and four dark grey fresh-water pearls. The sterling silver toggle clasp is accented by an additional two dark grey fresh-water pearls.

A keshi pearl is a non-beaded pearl formed by accident as a by-product of a pearl culturing operation.

Keshi come in a wide variety of colors, and tend to have high luster and even rare orient. This is due to their solid-nacre composition.

Keshi Pearls Are Known For Their Luster

Keshi pearls are 100% nacre. This gives it an especially lustrous and shimmering surface quality. Most keshi, in fact, have a greater luster than even the highest quality cultured pearls.

Keshi Pearls Are Now A Very Rare Find

Keshi pearls, were once quite the bargain, yet beautiful and unique pieces. Today, Keshi pearls are much more rare. This is because pearl farms are now x-raying oysters to determine whether or not the nucleus has been expelled, if expelled they are re-nucleated before a keshi has time to form. This practice has made keshi pearls much more of a rare find than they once used to be.

This stunningly original and beautiful necklace has a minimum bid of $160.

Lot 2 (Earrings) and Lot 3 (Neckring) - Matching Sterling Silver and Cuprite earring and neckring set.

The warmth and excitement of the Southwest flow with an 18" neckring made of 10 thin strands of sterling silver suspending a triangular pendant of cuprite with chrysocolla.  This is matched with a pair of sterling silver and marcasite flower motif earstuds, each suspending a polished drop of cuprite/chrysocolla with sterling silver accents.

Cuprite is said to be helpful in dealing with major problems: irrational anxieties, terror from past traumas, and fear of dying. Chrysocolla is associated with serenity, tranquility, peace, patience, tolerance, acceptance, uncondional love, meditation, calmness, hope gentleness and sensitivity.

Combined, this stone may be called a god and goddess stone, because it blends the energies of masculine and feminine, of power and gentleness.

This set can be bid on individually or together.

Minimum bid for the earrings is $85 and for the neckring is $145, however you can place a minimum bid of $195 for the combined set!
