Jacqueline De Muro is a fixture in the local theatre and cabaret scene. As a San Francisco native, she’s thrilled to be sharing new takes on classic Rodgers and Hammerstein gems in her own hometown. It’s been twenty years since Jacqueline’s Moon debut as Sergeant Buria in By Jupiter. Most recently, she helped welcome back live theatre to the Gateway as Mrs Segstrom in the Liebesleider quintet of A Little Night Music. Some of her favorite roles with other theatres include Lady Thiang (King & I), Madame Liang (Flower Drum Song), Charlotte (A Little Night Music), Aldonza (Man of La Mancha), Genevieve (The Baker’s Wife), Lalume (Kismet), Alaura/Carla (City of Angels), Pam (Baby), Marta (Kiss of the Spiderwoman), Shogun’s Mother (Pacific Overtures), Muzzy (Thoroughly Modern Millie), and of course, Bloody Mary (South Pacific), for which she won a BATCC award.
