Tracy Camp

Tracy Camp is thrilled to perform with 42nd St Moon. A performer, activist, teacher and mother to a Black son, in the Bay Area, Tracy has performed at TheatreWorks, San Francisco Opera, AlterTheater and Ray of Light Theatre. She has also performed at Pacific Conservatory Theatre in Santa Maria and as Bess in Porgy and Bess in Colorado. Tracy serves on the Brain Trust for Those Women Productions and she is a member of the Coalition of Black Women Professional Theatre Makers Bay Area. Tracy double majored in math and Russian at Howard University, got her master’s in math from CSUEB, and teaches math at Laney College. She is a recipient of the Equity Award from the Getting Played Symposium and the Arts Enabler Award from Arts for a Better Bay Area (both for her work on representation in theater) and a Theater Bay Area Titan Award.
