Katie Francis is quite pleased to be debuting with 42nd Street Moon! Katie has been spotted around the SF Bay Area dabbling in various musical endeavors from Opera to Big Band and has performed with Altarena Theatre, Hillbarn Theatre, Ray of Light Theatre, Lamplighters Music Theatre, The Redwood Symphony, Phènix Opera, Just Opera, and Bay Area Classical Harmonies (B.A.C.H.), where she is also a member of the Board. Katie is a graduate of UC Santa Cruz. Her favorite roles include, Marcellina in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Katisha in Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Mikado, and Aldonza in Leigh’s Man of La Mancha. When not performing, Katie is a paralegal at the Wikimedia Foundation.
