42nd Street Moon is proud to present a FREE workshop with Broadway Great John Bucchino!! You won’t find a more fantastic opportunity to not only workshop and perform music from one of the great music-writers of our time, but also be guided by the writer himself!! 

John Bucchino’s songs have been performed and recorded by renowned pop (Art Garfunkel, Judy Collins), theatre (Liza Minnelli, Patti LuPone, Kristin Chenoweth, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Audra McDonald), cabaret (Barbara Cook, Michael Feinstein), and classical (Yo-Yo Ma, Deborah Voight, Nathan Gunn), artists as well as The Boston Pops, the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in venues including Carnegie Hall, The Metropolitan Opera, The Hollywood Bowl, The Kennedy Center, The Sydney Opera House, London’s O2 Arena, and The White House.

Dear aspiring Stage Directors, stage managers, designers, and other aspiring theater professionals, we are excited to bring you an amazing opportunity to step closer to the intricate processes and procedures involved in the role of being a Musical Theater Stage Director. This Workshop will walk you through the many components involved with being at the helm of a musical theater show to drive it to a successful run! From the challenges of diverse casting to cultivating a cast of actors to designing a show to power marketing/sales on the social network.

IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION

  • All students age 12+ are required to show proof of full vaccination in order to join classes in person. Proof of vaccination must be brought to first day of class or day of drop-in class (physical vaccination card, digital record, or photo). If eligible, booster shots are required.
  • All MoonSchool instructors and staff are required to be fully vaccinated before beginning instruction. 
  • Students who attend class in person will be required to wear a mask at all times. 
  • We ask that you do not attend class in person if you are feeling ill. If you or someone in your household receives a positive COVID test following your attendance in class, please notify us as soon as possible so that we can alert those who may have been exposed.

REGISTRATION POLICIES
Registrations are processed in the order received. Registrations are accepted until class is full or until the class begins. Closer to the start date of the class, we will email further details confirming dates, times, and other information.

CANCELLATION
If you cancel registration two weeks or more prior to the first day of class, you will be issued a full refund minus a $25 administrative fee. If you cancel your registration within two weeks of the first day, there will be no refunds unless your spot can be filled by a student on the waiting list. In the event that we are able to fill your spot, you will receive a full refund minus a $25 administrative fee.
